How does private insurance benefit healthcare?

Countries represented across the iFHP world vary greatly in the degree of interaction between privately insured health and their national health systems. But all iFHP members play a vital role in bringing private sector skills and plurality of provision to healthcare, and raising overall standards. What unites us is a constant quest for improvement in quality and value for money, against a background of accelerating medical inflation with particular concern about the cost of new generation drugs. Our aim at this Forum is to expose our members to new ideas about the future of healthcare and share innovative thinking
