Expert Panels

Launched in 2015 the iFHP has created various Expert Panels, based on a “think-tank” format to bring together subject matter experts from our member organisations. These Panels focus on critical issues where members are able to work collaboratively sharing best practice, learn from each other and devise common solutions. Each Panel is comprised of between 10 – 18 members, meeting face to face and through regular virtual updates. Current Expert Panels include:

  • Mhealth & Big Data
  • Clinical Effectiveness and High Cost Drugs
  • Cybersecurity
  • Fraud, Error, Waste and Abuse

Examples of collaborative working initiatives from these Panels include horizon scanning of the pipeline of  new drugs and guidelines for Robotic Surgery.
