Bupa Group Medical Director

Bupa has  announced the appointment of a new Group Medical Director, Dr Paul Zollinger-Read.

 

Paul joins Bupa from NHS Midlands and East Strategic Health Authority, where he is Director of Commissioning Development. He is also Medical Adviser and Primary Care Lead for the leading healthcare think-tank The King's Fund. Previously, Paul was the Chief Executive of five Primary Care Trusts, and a practising GP for over 20 years.

 

Paul replaces Dr Andrew Vallance-Owen, who has retired after 17 years at Bupa. Paul will be joining Bupa in the summer.
